Spicy Khaja Recipe

I at last made it! The last two releases, I could deal with the initial two days since those were set up early. By one means or another the last day evaded me both the weeks. Particularly when both the topics for both the weeks were something I would have wanted to make.

However I couldn’t discover time, infact posting on those two days was an armada. At any rate I figured I may have the capacity to do, simply let it slip. No reason for discussing water that is gone long prior under the scaffold. We should discuss what’s correct now and what I need to share. I was enthused about ensuring I influence the last day’s to dish. Since even this week my initial two days post was prepared ahead.

With two days of desserts, I was excited about making some appetizing. I perused through parcel of stuff, nothing held my advantage. While I was conversing with my associate about this, she even recommended she would get some information about thoughts. Amid the exchange, she disclosed to me that her mother used to make Khaja. I said we excessively make and it is a celebrated Andhra sweet. She said however the name is same, the adaptation her mother made was fiery one.


  • 2 containers gram flour 1/2 glass plain flour
  • 2 tsp. red stew powder
  • 1/2 tsp. omam seeds (ajwain) 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp. coriander finely hacked
  • 1 tbsp. oil salt to taste oil to profound broil


1. Mix the two flours together.
2. Make a well in the middle, include every single other fixing, aside from oil to profound broil.
3. Mix them well in the flour.
4. Sufficiently add water to make a delicate malleable mixture.
5. Divide batter to make little (4" distance across) thin adjusts.
6. Prick on the two sides with a fork.
7. Allow to dry on a spotless material for 25-30 minutes.
8. Deep broil in hot oil till a light carmelizing shows up.
9. Do not over broil.
10.Drain and cool totally before putting away.
